Claw wins in Athenry and round up December 26/27

Mick Clohisey made it five in a row at the fields of Athenry 10K on St.Stephen’s Morning. Claw clocked 30 minutes 35 seconds for his fifth win out West in a row having passed half way in 15 minutes 34 seconds, winning out a full two minutes clear of GCH’s Matthew Bidwell. Seven teams took part in the St. Stephen’s Day Parloff, starting in its traditional time of just after noon over the traditional loop in St. Anne’s Park. Kelly breaks Christmas Day course record

  Kieran Kelly landed the Billy Peppard Cup with a course record at a magnificent Goal Christmas Day Mile. Kelly clocked three minutes 34 seconds, the course is officially 1400 metres long.
