O’Leary teaches BHAA a Lesson

Cillian O’Leary raced to victory in the Irish Life cross country hosted by the BHAA in Santry Demese on Saturday. Teacher O’Leary covered the six kilometre course in 19 minutes and 53 seconds some 20 seconds clear of Barry Donovan in second place. Raheny Shamrock secured a dominant Leinster Senior cross country title today in Tyrrellspass, Co.Westmeath. Ian Conroy led the men’s team home, Conroy took sixth place over all just under two minutes behind winner Mark Christie of Mullingar Harriers. Masters Home Countries Cross Country – updated

The results from the Home Countries Masters cross country are in and make for pleasant reading. Des Kennedy finished 23rd overall, helping Ireland collect over 45 gold as third scorer on the team.
