Dooney Second in Rathfarnham as Juniors Win

Conor Dooney took second place in the Rathfarnham 5K as the junior men’s team took gold. Dooney clocked 14 minutes 44 seconds for second place behind Kilkenny man Brian Kirwan who won out in 14:40. Kennedy Monks Second in Dublin Half

Tara Kennedy Monks took second place in the SSE Airtricity Dublin Half Marathon on Saturday. Kennedy Monks clocked one 22 minutes and 43 seconds for second place, just 21 seconds behind race winner DSD’s Maria McCambridge, winning her first Dublin half marathon since 2013. Freddy Third in Belfast Half

Freddy Sittuk took third place in the Deep River Rock Belfast Half Marathon on Sunday. Sittuk clocked 70 minutes six seconds with country man Gideon Kipsang racing in the City of Derry colours won out in 64:38 with Clonliffe’s Stephen Scullion second in 66:12.
