Daniel Beveridge took silver at the Tailteann games with a personal best of 40.88 metres before going onto finish seventh in the shot put with a throw of 12.15 metres.
Jamie Sheridan landed 400 metre bronze and was part of the Leinster which won the 4×400 metre.
Elsewhere Hugh Flood took fourth place in the hammer with a best of 49.41 metres. While Sean Maher threw a personal best of 43.76 metres.
