Parkrun Round Up July 8

Damien Martin landed victory in St.Anne’s Park, leading home a huge contingent of club members.

Martin posted 16 minutes 44 seconds for victory with Bernard Roe second in 16 minutes 55 seconds and Graham O’Dwyer third in 17:21.

In fact seven of the first nine athlete’s home were from the local club with .John Clohisey fourth in 18:44, Eamon Traynor sixth in 19:02, Sean Honan seventh 19:08 and Keith Fleming ninth in 19:33.

Other finishers in St.Anne’s were Keith Comiskey 20:11, Dave Feeney 20:16, Brian Kelly 20:29, Caitriona Costello 20:35, Sean McGoldrick 20:59, Des Lyons 21:08, Rachel Ormrod 21:23, John Fennell 21:24.

In Malahide Eoin Brady took second place in 17 minutes 12 seconds behind a race winner without a club!

Wesley Grant finished in fourth place in 17:33 with Annette Kealy fifth in 17:59 and Robert Frewen sixth in 18:07.

Other finishers in Malahide were Paul Frewen 19:27, Aileen Byrne 21:21, Eimear O’Keeffe 22:58, Steven Rowe and 23:34.

John Frier posted 20:24 in Poppintree with Mary Purdue-Smyth clocking 23:04 while in Orebro, Sweden Maia Moore clocked 27:24 with Niamh Garvey posting 21:44 in Gorey.

Gerard Mullins won the Fr.Collins Parkrun in 17 minutes 45 seconds with Paul Larkin sixth in 21:43 and Sarah Conroy posted 27:49.
