Weekend Results

Ian Conroy booked his place at the World mountain championships in Wales by winning a trial race earlier today. Brian Leahy was third in the Tullamore half marathon today. Brian finished in a time of 1:13:11 while Connor Jennings ran 1:46:46 and Tom O’Sullivan ran 2:06:51. Annette Kealy was third woman in Tinryland 4 mile in 24:01 while Eoin Brady ran 22:12. Freddy Sittuk won the Longford marathon in 2:37:44 with Dave Brady running 4:37:39. Dermot won the St Annes parkrun in 16:57 with Brian Kelly third in 17:46. Other finishers were Des Lyons 22:25, Aoibhinn McGoldrick 22:28, Rachel Ormond 22:51, Gillian Kenny 23:48, Gary Kenny 25:13, Elaine Pender 25:55, June Comiskey 26:03, Sinead Lyons 26:05. Brian Quigley was the clubs first finisher in Malahide in 19:18. Other finishers were Steven Rowe 22:30, Eddie Harrison 22:31, Larry Fox 31:08. John Freir was second in Westport in 18:42 while Martin Kelly was third in 18:51 while Mary Purdue Smyth (22:34) and Caroline Farrelly (22:47) were first and second woman overall respectively. Other finishers were Dave Gargan 19:30, Christy Reilly 20:34, Sean McGoldrick 23:05, Ann-Marie Gargan 23:38, Rachel Markey 24:09, Helena Corcoran 24:21. Well done to all those who ran the pink run 5k and 10k.
