Quinn & Keogh Land 2017 Lord Mayor Series

Terry Keogh and Zoey Quinn secured the 2017 Lord Mayor of Raheny Series.

The 13 event race series concluded on Tuesday August 29 where Joseph O’Donoghue was the first past the post in nine minutes 57 seconds.

Dave Brophy took second place in 10 minutes 11 seconds and Graham O’Dwyer took third place in some 11 seconds later.

Zoey Quinn claimed the women’s race for the fifth time this campaign posting 11 minutes 35 seconds to finish tenth overall.

Anne Marie Woods took the silver medal in 12 minutes five seconds with Caitriona Costello third in 12 minutes 14 seconds.

As the race was the final race of the 2017 Lord Mayor of Raheny series, the final result of the series were confirmed.

Zoey Quinn’s five wins in the Women’s series saw her claim the overall title with Caitriona Costello taking second and Anne Marie Woods landing bronze.

Top 3 Women

The men’s series went to Terry Keogh with Eamonn Traynor taking second place and James Cassidy taking third place overall.

That completes the 2017 Lord Mayor of Raheny Series. The Jim Wall Memorial handicap two mile takes place next Tuesday. Details will be posted during the week.
