Mick Clohisey took third place in the Great Ireland Run and silver in the national 10km which is ran as part of the championship.
Clohisey clocked 30 minutes 22 seconds just four seconds behind the race winner Oliver Lockley of England with Kilkenny City Harriers Brian Maher second in 30:20.
An extremely competitive race, seeing Clohisey taking national silver again.
Official results of the national championships are not yet available from Athletics Ireland, hard to understand as Great Ireland Run have published the overall race results.

Meanwhile Eamonn Dunne took fourth place in the Great Ireland Run 5k posting 17 minutes 22 seconds.
