Czech Fifth For Clohisey, Kirwan and O’Driscoll PB

Mick Clohisey took fifth place at the České Budějovice half-marathon in the Czech Republic posting 65 minutes 40 seconds.

The race was won outright by Britain’s Luke Traynor in 63 minutes 40 seconds. Clohisey was just 32 seconds off third place which was taken by Austrian Valentin Pfeil.

Meanwhile, at the Oordegem track meet in Belgium, Sean O Driscoll set a new personal best of 22.09 seconds in the 200m and a seasons best of 10.92 seconds in the 100 meters.

While Dylan Kirwan posted a 400m hurdles personal best of 58:62 with Kieran Kelly clocking 3:42.46 in the 1500 metres.

While Orla Comerford posted 12.72 seconds in the 100 metres and 26:54 seconds in the 200 metres.

Elsewhere at Tuesday’s BHAA Dunboyne 5 mile road Ciaran McCathy took third place in 26 minutes 56 second behind Sean Hehir.

Others who completed were David Duane 28:05, Keith Fleming 31:15, Anthony Walsh 31:28, Orla Manley 32.22, Ollie Power 32:33, Paul Frewen 32:39, Orla Gormley 33:14.
