Frank Greally Leaves The Irish Runner

This morning, it has been announced that Frank Greally has retired as editor of the Irish Runner magazine a role Frank held for some 37-years.

Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club would like to take this moment to congratulate Frank on his retirement and wish him the very best in future endeavours.

For so many years the “Runner” was the bible of the sport in Ireland and Frank as founder and editor in that period was the driving force behind the magazine.

In that period Frank commissioned features on our club and countless stories on club members and events. Indeed a number of club members contributed to the magazine over the many years.

We wish Frank the very best in his retirement and extend a welcome to Frank in his new role as an Athletics Ireland ambassador, Frank Greally will always be welcome in Raheny.

We would also like to take this moment to offer best wishes to the new Irish Runner editor Bernie Commins and IFP media, the new owners of the Irish Runner magazine.
