Dooney Second In Flanders

Conor Dooney took second place in the Flanders Cup 3,000 metres in Belgium on Saturday.

Dooney posted eight minutes 20.25 seconds for second place behind Belgian Simon Debognies who clocked eight minutes eight point seven seconds.

Meanwhile Sean Dowling posted 23.57 seconds finishing fourth in his 200 metre heat at the Northern Ireland and Ulster championship.

While on the roads Eric Champ took second place in the Glenmore AC 10 Mile clocking 64.45 with Graham O’Dwyer seventh in the Patrick Bell 5K (Bohermeen) in 16:18.
