Sittuk and Kealy win Irish Runner 5

Freddie Sittuk and Annette Kealy made it a Raheny double at the Irish Runner Five Mile.

Sittuk won the men’s race posting 25 minutes eight seconds, some eight seconds clear of second placed Brendan McDonnell from Galway City Harriers.

Annette Kealy won the women’s race in 30 minutes 12 seconds, just ahead of Fiona Stack who clocked 30:30.

Ciaran McCarthy finished sixth place in 27 minutes dead, Brian Leahy took seventh place in 27 minutes seven seconds.

It was a busy weekend for Freddy who took second place in the Dunshaughlin clocking 30 minutes 22 seconds, behind DSD’s Hiko Tonosa in 30:16.

Mark Kirwan took fourth place in 30 minutes 37 seconds with Davey Duane clocking 59:39.
