Fay pips Kelly at BMC

Brian Fay posted 3:43.43 to take fourth place in the men’s 1500 metres A race the British Milers club on Saturday night.

Kieran Kelly posted 3:44.14 for sixth place in a race was won by John Travers in 3:40.74.

Meanwhile at the Tailteann Games, Sean Maher won the hammer, with Hugh Flood taking third place. Sean L’Estrange took second place in the 200 metres,

The relay team which included Sean L’Estrange and Scott Meany took second place.

James Hyland finished fifth in the steeplechase with Scott Meany sixth in the long jump.

While at the Dublin graded meeting on Wednesday night, Iseult O’Donnell won the 800 metres A race in 2:18.26.

James Smith took fourth place the 200m C race in 26.49 seconds with Simon Smith fifth in 28.75.

Donal Foley posted 2:16.21 in the 800 metre B race for eighth place with Dylan O’Brien second in the C race in 2:16.26.

In the pole vault Laura Fallon and Conor Bermingham both competed, however I cannot seem to make out the height they jumped.
