Mark Smyth was second in the All Irelands today in Athlone. Competing in the U19 competition, Mark ran 22:40 for the silver in the 200. Kevin Byrne was third in the U17 high jump, clearing 1.86m, which is a new club indoor record. Tara Kennedy was first female in the Naquora 10k. Racing in the club colours for the first time, Tara was first woman and first O40 in the race in Lebanon with a time of 39:00. In Bohermeen Paul Larkin ran 1:39:43 with Brid Smyth running 1:50:27 and Connor Jennings running 1:53:30. Cillian O’Leary won the St Annes parkrun in 15:40 while Dave Grange was second in 17:16. Other finishers were Eamon Traynor 18:39, Barry Lennon 18:59, Alan O’Flynn 19:08, David O’Hara 19:47, Sean McGoldrick 20:47, Aileen Hooper 21:10, John Fennel 21:13, Des Lyons 21:30, Nora Byrne 21:41, John Freir 22:39, Denise Kelleher 23:08, Connor Jennings 23:35, Sinead Lyons 25:34, Eoin Fegan 28:20, Helen Carr 28:21, Valerie Hand 32:00. Feidhlim Kelly won Malahide in 16:25 with Annette Kealy first woman in 18:15. Other finishers were Seamus Rooney 18:43, Brian Quigley 20:00, Steven Rowe 22:39. Karl Meehan was winner of Father Collins parkrun in 18:01 while Rachel Markey was first female in 23:11. Other finishers were Alan Foley 18:50 and Paul Cullen 20:29. Niall Power ran 20:22 in Ardgillan. Bernie Manley was second woman in Clarisford in 23:54. Robbie Beggs ran 22:16 in Donabate.
