Parkrun Round-Up 11/11

A large number of Raheny Shamrock members managed a very enjoyable night at the 60th Anniversary to compete in the Parkrun races the following day.

Mark Kirwan completed his late night promise by breaking the Darndale course record in 16:06, needless to say a victory.

In Malahide Robert Frewen won out in 17:27 with Wesley Grant second in 17:37, others who ran in Malahide were Paul Frewen 20:29, Denise Kelleher 21:54, Helen Carr 23:24, Angela Charlton 24:46.

Dermot Coffey took third in St.Annes park in 17:45 with Mark MacSweeney seventh in 18:36, Dean Keogh ninth 19:04 and Declan Whooley 10th in 19:12.

Others who ran in the Anne’s were John Clohisey 19:15, Ollie Power 20:01, Ray Linn 20:07, Dave Feeney 20:16, David O’Hara 20:31, Eamon Traynor 21:06.

In Fr Collins Park Alan Foley took third place in 19:03, in Donabate Patrick Phillips was fifth in 19:59 and in Poolbeg Brian Sexton took second place in 18:01 with Bob Quinn posting 29:10.

Outside Dublin, Rory O’Sullivan took second place in Queens Park Belfast posting 18:10 with Sam Cotter posting 27:34 in Tonbridge.
