Freddie Sittuk won the Waterford half marathon in 68 minutes one second, some four seconds clear of Tallaght’s Thomas Fitzpatrick.
Cillian O’Leary took fourth place in 69 minutes 10 seconds. Other Raheny athletes who ran were Gay Byrne 95:41, Mary Walsh 1:42:45, Mary Purdue-Smyth 1:44:30 and Dan Wallace 2:01:32.
In the Jingle Bells 5K Donal Foley was Raheny athlete home in 16:27 followed by Colm Cassidy 16.30, Graham O Dwyer 16:34, Wesley Grant 17:20, John Clarke 17:29.
