Clohisey Strong On Streets Of London

Mick Clohisey posted two hours 15 minutes and six seconds in the 2019 London Marathon.

Clohisey finished 25th in a race were Eliud Kipchoge posted the second fastest marathon ever when he clocked two hours two minutes and 37 seconds.

Clohisey’s time will help his ranking points as he looks to make it to Tokyo 2020.

At the Sterrling marathon Colm Dunne posted two hours 55 minutes and 56 seconds to finish 17th.

Elsewhere Shirley Coyle won the Wexford half marathon in 83 minutes.

While Kate Purcell won the Ladies Irish Mountain running championship in Wicklow on Saturday. This race doubled as the European Championship trial.
