Cronin Runs In Europe Clohisey Claims Roscommon

Kate Cronin was part of the Irish team which finished 12th at the European mountain race championship, finishing 46th overall. Sarah Mulligan (16th) and Harriet Robinson (48th) made up the team.

On Saturday night Mick Clohisey won the Roscommon 10 mile road race in 48 minutes 36 seconds. Well clear of Clonliffe’s David Flynn who clocked 49 minutes 32 seconds.

While Sheila Duffy posted 98:05 and Helen Carr 1:40.35.

At the Clontarf Half-Marathon and 5 mile ran in conjunction with Raheny Shamrock, Shirley Coyle finished second woman in 86 minutes 35 seconds with Terry Keogh 11th overall in 84 minutes 36 seconds.

In the five mile Zoe Quinn won the women’s race in 31:33 finishing fourth overall with Sarah Quigley sixth in 31:39 and second woman. Eoin Connolly took third place in 31:27.
