Eric Favors was at it again as he set a new national shot put record of 19.49 metres at the Tiger Paw Invitational to collect important NCAA points for University of South Carolina.
Favors waited until his final throw to toss another personal best and finishing fourth in a very competitive event.
Favors mark moves him up to a tie for 15th in the USA and a third week in a row of breaking the Irish indoor record.
While Valentina Martinez won the Canary Islands Shot Put Championship in Tenerife today with another club record of 13.97.
