The national master’s indoor championships saw four medals collected by Raheny athletes in Athlone I.T.
Annette Kealy added 3,000m W50 gold to her cramped mantel piece winning gold in 10:20.43 well clear of silver medallist Anna O’Neill.
Orla Gormley continued to build her excellent medal collection winning 3,000m W55 gold in 12:06.93.
Another man building on his recent good form was Pat Timmons taking 1500m M70 gold in 5:40.10, 22 seconds clear of Galway City Harriers Martin McEvilly.
While Siobhan McArdle took W50 800m bronze in 2:40.68 with gold going to Ann Wyne of Carrick-on-Shannon in 2:40.04 and Aisling Power of Ennis Track clocking 2:40.46 for silver. Patricia O’Cleirigh finished fifth in 2:45.09.
