Brian Fay has set a new club 10,000 metre record after posting 28 minutes 41.70 seconds at the Winter Sprints meet in Belfast on December 19.
Fay finished second overall with Sean Tobin winning out in 28:30.91. Fay took point 02 off David Rooney previous 10,000m record set on April fourth 2014.
Daniel Stone posted 31:59.52 in the same meet when he finished in 12th place.
Very good running from both men, running outdoors in winter, in a season heavily impacted by covid-19.
