Clohisey Third in Great Ireland Run

Mick Clohisey took third place in the Great Ireland Run and silver in the national 10km which is ran as part of the championship. Clohisey clocked 30 minutes 22 seconds just four seconds behind the race winner Oliver Lockley of England with Kilkenny City Harriers Brian Maher second in 30:20. A Bronze Laden University Statue

There were bronze medals galore for Raheny Shamrock athlete’s at the Irish University championships. Orla Comerford of National College of Art & Design took 100 metre bronze posting 12.84 seconds. UCD Aisling Drumgoole taking part in her final University track championship took 400 metre bronze in 56.11 and was part of the UCD 4x400m which also took bronze.
