Mick Clohisey got 2022 off to a flying start with a clear victory at the Ferrycarrig 5 mile in county Wexford on Monday. Clohisey posted 24 minutes 39 seconds for victory some 53 seconds clear of David Mahon from Slaney Olympic. The 2021/22 Winter League resumes on Wednesday night January 5th at 8pm with round three over three miles. Entry for the race is €7 or €50 for the remaining eight races in the league series. Daniel Stone secured the first race victory of 2022 winning the Tom Brennan memorial 5K in the Phoenix Park 14:48.
