The men’s and women’s team finished 5th and 6th respectively in the National League final. There were fine wins by Kieran Kelly in the 1500m, Freddy Sittuk in the steeple and 5000m, Fannz Juhasz in the pole vault and the women’s 4×400 team while great support from the rest of the teams across the day.
Dermot Gorman was winner of tonights’ Lord Mayor 2 mile race. Dermot finished in 10:16, with Mick Traynor second in 10:20 and Colum O’Leary third in 10:21. Catriona Costello was first female in 12:36 with Aileen Byrne second in 12:55 and Hillary McGee third in 13:16.
Freddy Sittuk won the Cookestown half marathon on Saturday with a time of 71:47 while today he won the DLR Bay 10k in 31:55. Damien Martin was the clubs first finisher at the BHAA Dublin Fire Brigade 5k in 17:05. Other finishers were Orla Gormley 20:24, Tara Kennedy 20:39, Deirdire Fitzsimons 21:32, Maurice Timmins 26:34.
