Schools Athletics

There were some good performances by the club’s younger athlete’s at the North Leinsters. Sean Dowling was 1st in the 400m while Dylan Kirwan was 2nd. Dylan also claimed victory in the 400m hurdles. Dublin Graded

The track season is upon us as the first Graded meet was held in Santry on Wednesday. In the 100m Colm Bourke ran 11:35 while Liam Sheehan ran 12:20 and Emmet McGovern ran 12:34. There were some good performances and a club record set by Raheny athletes at the IUAA T&F championships in Santry. In far from ideal conditions, Colm Bourke won the long jump competition with a best of 6.95m. Aisling Drumgoole won silver in the 400m in 57:37.
