Kieran finished second in the 800 in 1:52:23, ending a 5 year wait for another National individual medal and caps off a brilliant indoor season. Scallan sets indoor record

Susan Scallan was the clubs top performer on day 1 of the National Indoor Championships, setting a new club record in the 400m. Running in heat 1, Susan ran 55.66 to qualify for tomorrow’s final and break her indoor record she set last week. Aisling Drumgoole also qualified for tomorrow’s final, running 57.26 in heat 3. Clohisey improves marathon time

It was a great day for the club, with athletes setting pb’s and club records. Mick Clohisey ran the Seville in hopes to improve his marathon time in the lead up to the Olympics. Mick finished in 10th overall in 2:15:10, bettering his pb from Berlin by 27 seconds.
