Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club welcome this evening’s announcement from An Taoiseach Micheal Martin allowing the resumption of match fixtures from June seventh. Brian Fay sets new club steeplechase record

Brian Fay set a new 3,000m club steeplechase record of 8:33.93 when he won out at the Manchester invitational meet on Thursday night. Fay had some six seconds to spare on Britain’s Daniel Jarvis with Matthew Hughes of Canada in third place clocking 8:45.01. Fay who ran in the European indoor championships in March, is looking likely to have a blistering summer.

Comerford Clocks Tokyo 2020 Qualifying Time

Orla Comerford clocked the qualifying time for the Tokyo Paralympic Games at the City of Lisburn meet last Saturday when she clocked 12.65 seconds to win the 100m B race. 2 years out but she hasn’t missed a beat!!!
