In-line with government updates, Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club shall reopen to all members from Monday May 10. This now means that all athletes can train in pods of 15 (14 athlete’s plus one coach) from Monday May 10. Becker Helps Ireland to World Relay Second

Sophie Becker steered the Irish women’s 4×200 metre relay team to second at the World Relays in Silesia, Poland. Becker won the fourth leg as Ireland clocked a national record of 1:35.93 for second place behind relay winners Poland who clocked 1:34.93. Ecuador took third place in 1:36.83. Favors Sets New Club Shot Put Record

Eric Favors set a new club shot put record when he finished second at the UNF Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida. Favors threw 19.34 metres for a new personal best and club record, improving his from 19.28m which was set in Portugal in 2019. Another great throw from Eric, who will next compete at the SEC Championships in Bryan-College Station, Texas from May 13-15.
