Silver Lining Wraps Around The Indoors

Isuelt O’Donnell, Mark Smyth and Brian Fay wrapped a silver lining around day two of the national indoor championships in Abbotstown. Mark Smyth landed his first national senior title when he scorched around Abbotstown to the national 200m indoor title. Smyth set a new personal best and club record posting 21.04 seconds to claim the title, point 69 seconds ahead of Donore Harriers Paul McDermott. Timmons Sets National Masters Record

Pat Timmons set a new national Masters O/70 record of 5:34.69 for the 1500 metres at the Leinster Indoors championships in Abbotstown on Saturday February 23rd. The new record was added to Pat’s 800m record set on February 11th.
