A special presentation will be made to the national senior cross country championship team this evening at 8.30pm in Raheny GAA Club.
The club landed its first men’s national senior cross country championship in November and per Athletics Ireland rules, the four scoring members of the team were presented with medals.
Under the club president Paddy Noonan’s instruction and after discussion with Athletics Ireland, all members of the team which competed on the day in Abbotstown will be awarded a medal.
A presentation of medals will be made to all members of the team, including representing the medals to the winning team.
This is designed to be a short and quick evening which will begin at 8.30pm in the Raheny GAA Club bar.
