On behalf of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, l would like to extend a very belated but nevertheless, sincere and heartfelt thank you to all who supported our Annual Appeal.
The response from Raheny Shamrocks AC was simply overwhelming.
A sincere thanks to all who donated fantastic gifts including presents for young and old and even a Christmas tree! A special word of thanks to Collette, and to the other juvenile coaches, who facilitated the collection of these gifts at their training sessions.
A whole hearted thank you to those who volunteered their time to ensure that over 125 families were looked after in terms of delivering Christmas gifts, fuel vouchers and food hampers.
The number of people approaching SVP for help remains stubbornly high even in an improving economy. But because of your support, we are able to help those who need it most with the basics like food and fuel.
Thank you for supporting the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul’s Annual Appeal and for reaching out to people in need in your community.
