There was plenty of action at the graded meet in Santry last night. Aisling Drumgoole won the Dublin Championships 400m in 56.09 with Susan Scallan second in 56.97. Fiona Ryan ran 63.21 in the B race. Earlier in the 100m Aisling ran 12.53 while Orla Comerford ran 13.02, Maria Murphy ran 14.11 & Orla Lambe ran 16.20. Liam Sheehan ran 12.36 in the men’s race.
Eoin O’Dwyer won the men’s B 1500 in 4:16.07 while Andrew Hyland ran 4:24.12. Declan Robinson ran 4:38.09 in the C race. Blaithin Shiel was second in the women’s B 1500 in 5:00.88. In the pole vault it was a Raheny 1-2-3 with Andres Powell and Conor Bermingham both clearing 4m while Barry Henneghan cleared 3.1m for third.
