Park Run Round Up Saturday October 8

Feidhlim Kelly was the club’s star performer at this week’s Parkrun when he added another victory to his belt in Malahide.

Kelly won out in a swift 15 minutes 54 seconds some 73 seconds clear of Patrick O’Grady.

Other results in Malahide; 6th Paul Frewin – 18:59, Steven John Rowe – 23:27, Eoin Fegan – 25:00, Keith Moynes – 26:42.

Helen Carr was the fourth woman over the line in 22:37, while Denise Kelleher posted 26:42.

Aine Crimin was the club’s star performer in St. Annes Park taking gold in the women’s race in 20 minutes four seconds, Adrienne Atkins took third place in 21:01, while Nora Byrne – 21:42 and Jenny Colbert 22:19 finished seventh and ninth in the women’s race.

Other performances in St. Annes Park; Keith Fleming – 21:50, Sean McGoldrick – 22:01, Connor Jennings – 22:42, Rachel Ormrod – 23:34, Cherie Hyland 23:54, Amanda Langan – 24:02, Sue O’Toole – 25:57, Valerie Hand – 28:40.

Alan Foley was the first Raheny athlete home in Fr. Collins Park taking third place in 18:54, the race was won in 16:03. Martin Kelly took fifth place in 19:43 with Aileen Hooper the first woman home in 22:48.

David Gargan posted 19:36 for second place in Donabate just four seconds behind Paul O’Loughlin. John Frier posted 20 minutes 50 seconds for fifth place. Ann-Marie Gargan was second woman home in 23 minutes four seconds.
