Zoe Quinn Wins Torremolinos 5K

Zoe Quinn brought the Raheny Shamrock victories to Spain on Saturday when winning the Torremolinos 5K.

Brian Kelly was the first Raheny man home in the 5K posting 20:27.

In the Torremolinos Half Marathon Quinn clocked 87 minutes nine seconds to take victory. With Tara Kennedy posting 88:09 and Mary Walsh 91:34.

While the top three men home were, Ronan Wogan 77:07, Graham Ahearne 80:36 and Christopher Quaid 84:11. The top three men and women combined to take the third place in the combined team event.

Also running where Darrell Reamsbottom 85:21, Brian Kelly 86:15, Michael Kehoe 94:14, Brian Connor 96:50, Cormac O’Floinn 1:42:39, Elaine McNulty 1:45:46, Paul Larkin 1:51:55, Greg O’Beirne 1:54:04, Kate Murtagh 1:59:52, James Murtagh 2:01:37 and Shay Neary 2:27:31.

At the Trim 10 Mile Colm Dunne was first Raheny athlete home in 59:56 followed by Eoin Connolly 61:51, Bernard Roe 62:15, Wesley Grant 62:57.

Meanwhile at the John Tracey 10 Mile in Dungarvan Sean Kelly lead the Shamrock’s home in 57 minutes and 50 seconds. Followed by Mark McComish 67:23, Gearoid Healy 67:39, Denis Murphy 73:15 and Anne Marie Fidgeon 99:44.
