The first weekend in February was a busy one for 34 Raheny Shamrock teenagers. The national indoor arena in Abbotstown was the venue for the Dublin indoor juvenile championship. Schools Cross Country Success

The East, West, and North Leinster Secondary Schools Cross Country championships took place in the Phoenix Park over last Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The top 15 athletes in each event qualified to represent their schools in the upcoming Leinster Championships in Santry Demesne on February 8th, along with the top three schools teams in each event. Great Performances Again By The Juveniles At Nationals

The National Juvenile Uneven Ages Cross Country took place just outside Conna in Cork on Sunday. The event was hosted by St. Catherine’s AC and was superbly organised. Conditions were very testing with plenty muck, loads of hills, and even a water feature thrown in for good measure!
