Strutt Fastest Over 800

Eoin Strutt posted the fastest 800 metres at the third Dublin Graded Meet of the year in Irishtown Stadium on Wednesday night. The A 800 metre race was split into two races, due to the amount of competitors with Strutt clocking a swift one minute 55.75 seconds for victory Daniel Scully took second place behind Strutt in the same race posting one minute 57.24 seconds. Mrs. Maura Martin RIP

Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club are saddened to learn of the passing of Maura Martin, mother of Mick Martin. Mrs. Martin passed away on Sunday May 21st in Nazareth House on the Malahide Road. Mrs. Martin’s funeral takes place on Thursday May 25th at 10am in St. John the Baptist church in Clontarf with removal for burial to St. Fintan’s cemetary. Full details available here

Senior Men & Master Women Capture Terenure

Mick Clohisey was just piped for the Terenure Five mile title as Peter Brandon-Somba winning out by just two seconds. Clohisey second place along with Cillian O’Leary’s fifth place set up the senior men for team victory with the master’s women team also taking gold.
