John Dunne landed the Dublin Masters M35 cross country title by winning outright in St. Anne\u2019s Park and helping the club to the men\u2019s over 35 team title.<\/p>\n

It was another brilliant day for the club at the Dublin Master Cross Country with FIVE gold medals staying in Raheny.<\/p>\n

Dunne was a comfortable winner of the race outright ahead of Rathfarnham\u2019s Robert Murphy with Ian Conroy taking bronze.<\/p>\n

Dunne and Conroy combined with seventh placed Ciaran McCarthy and ninth place David Kirwan to total 20 points and gold, 54 points clear of Donore Harriers. Crusaders took bronze.<\/p>\n

Damien Martin landed the M50 gold medal most impressively taking 14th<\/sup> place overall with Mick Traynor one place behind in 15th<\/sup> and M50 silver medallist.<\/p>\n

Damo and Mick combined with Donald Quinn (48th<\/sup>) and Brian Kelly (78th<\/sup>) to land M50 Gold with 155 points a staggering 247 points clear of Liffey Valley with Rathfarnham third.<\/p>\n

There was further success for the women\u2019s over 50 team with Orla Gormley, Adrienne Atkins, Nora Byrne and Caroline Farrelly\u00a0scoring 155 points, 91\u00a0points ahead of DSD with Sportsworld third.<\/p>\n

A total of 14 individual medals were picked up by the club with a massive 69 club members taking part. The individual medallist were;<\/p>\n

There was one sour note for the women\u2019s over 35 team who finished fourth just six points off the silver medal. Crusaders won out on 46 points with Donore taking silver on count back from Sportsworld who both scored 63 points.<\/p>\n

The team was Annette Kealy, Jenny Mulry, Sarah Quigley, Helen Carr scored 69 points.<\/p>\n
