The 48th<\/sup> edition of the Joe Noonan 5 mile resulted in first time victories for both Conrad Latham and Bernadette Bruen in largely suitable conditions for the annual pre Christmas lung buster.<\/div>\n

Youth was very much to the fore in the Men’s event with the first 5 finishers all Under 18 years of age.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Latham 25.59, last years runner up went one better when beating\u00a0 Mark O’Callaghan by 20 seconds with Charlie Gunawardhana a further 19 seconds adrift.<\/div>\n

Bernadette Bruen was a very impressive winner of the women’s event , comfortably ahead of Tara Kennedy and Carmel Ward.<\/div>\n

The mixed Team event proved once again a popular and fun addition to proceedings.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Here the Christmas Bells team of Charlie Gunawardhana, Catherine Groves , Keith Fleming and Clodagh Foley won the stampede to claim the first of the 10 prizes on offer.<\/div>\n
