\"\"<\/a>Mick Clohisey took Great Ireland Run bronze and national championship silver in a competitive race in the Phoenix Park today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clohisey clocked 29 minutes and 44 seconds for third place, with the 2017 AXA Raheny 5 winner Mark Christie of Mullingar Harriers winning out right in 29:30.<\/span><\/p>\n

England\u2019s Graham Rush took silver in 29:41 just three seconds clear of Clohisey, meaning that Clohisey was awarded silver in the men\u2019s national championship.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kevin Dooney placed sixth in 30 minutes 31 seconds which translated as fourth in the national championship as Clonliffe\u2019s Sergiu Ciobanu took bronze in 30:20.<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0senior men\u2019s team won the national\u00a0title with a scoring team of Clohisey, Dooney, Simon Ryan 33:21 and Donal Foley 34.02 giving a time total of 2:07.45 with Conliffe Harriers second and Letterkenny third.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both Clohisey and Dooney were part of the Ireland team along which retained the Sean Kyle cup against the English outfits.<\/span><\/p>\n

The masters over 35 team of John Dunne 32:45, Michael McMahon 32:48 and\u00a0Dermot Gorman\u00a0took gold with a total time of 1:40.16 with North Sligo and Sligo A.C taking silver and bronze.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the individual championships there\u00a0were medals for Tom Loftus (bronze over 60), Adrienne Atkins (silver over 50) and Mary Lynch (silver over 65).<\/span><\/p>\n

Other Raheny Shamrock athlete\u2019s competing were;\u00a0 Ciaran McCarthy 34:41<\/span>,\u00a0Rory O\u2019Sullivan 35:39, Ian McConkey 36:25, Graham O’Dwyer 36:30,\u00a0Damien Martin 39:38, Tom Loftus 40:03<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul Cullen 41:43, Keith Comiskey 42:31, Adrienne Atkins 43:09, Elaine McNulty 43:21, Aileen Byrne 44:21, Jenny Colbert 45:14.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mary Lynch 46:31, \u00a0Connor Jennings 48:04,<\/span> Gillian Kenny 48:42, Una Cherry 49:25 and Anne McComish 55:54.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fiona Nelson won the Great Ireland Run 5k in 21 Minutes 29 seconds. A fantastic achievement in the park.<\/span><\/p>\n
