Raheny Shamrock women\u2019s road captain Orla Manley and men\u2019s captain Dick Hooper have both named strong teams for Sunday’s National Road Relay\u2019s which the club is hosting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s captain Orla Manley is so embarrassed with riches she has named two teams, the first team being called up totally from the junior ranks.<\/span><\/p>\n

The senior A team in order is Lucy Barrett, Niamh Corry and Ailish Murtagh. The B team in order is Orla Manley, Karen Crossan and Aoibhean McGoldrick.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are three masters\u2019 35 teams competing in order, A team Sarah Quigley, Annette Kealy and Jenny Mulry. The B team is Lorraine Byrne, Tara Kennedy Monks and Elaine McNulty. The C team is Caitriona Costello, Ann Maire Woods and Mary Walsh.<\/span><\/p>\n

There are two W50 team\u2019s announced,\u00a0in starting order the A team is Adrienne Atkins, Orla Gormley and Nora Byrne, with a B Team of Mary Purdue-Smyth, Una Cherry and Bernie Manley.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s captain Dick Hooper is without the services of Mick Clohisey due to the London Marathon, however has named an extremely strong team with three of the team which won the All-Ireland Cross Country Championship in November.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kevin Dooney, Mark Kirwan and Conor Dooney will be joined by National indoor 800 metre champion Kieran Kelly. Kelly was captain of the team which won this title 12 months ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

The B team includes Feidhlim Kelly. 2017 Raheny mile winner Daniel Scully, Donal Foley and Colm Delaney.<\/span><\/p>\n

With a gigantic pool of talent at masters level Hooper has decided to enter FOUR M35 teams from the pool which has won both the National Masters Cross Country and 10K road titles. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ian Conroy, Michael McMahon and John Dunne make up the A Team with Dave Kirwin, Dermot Gorman and Will Walsh comprising the B team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Team C is Rory O\u2019Sullivan, Ciaran McCarthy and Brian Leahy with Team D being Wesley Grant, Ian McConkey and Niall Power.<\/span><\/p>\n

Three over 50 men\u2019s teams have been entered, Team A Mick Traynor, Damien Martin and Dave Woods. Team B Gay Byrne, Tom Loftus and Dave O\u2019Hara, team C, Dave Feeney, Martin Kelly and Tommy Crampton.<\/span><\/p>\n
