Mark Smyth Winning Leinster Schools<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

All Ireland schools 100 and 200 metre champion Mark Smyth has received his first senior international call up for the European Team Championships.<\/span><\/p>\n

Smyth who is on course to be selected for the European Under 20 Championships has been selected as part of Ireland\u2019s 4×100 metre relay team.<\/span><\/p>\n

Five athletes have been selected with four running in Vassa Finland on June 24th<\/span><\/sup> and 25th<\/span><\/sup> who are;<\/span><\/p>\n

Marcus Lawler \u2013 St Laurance O\u2019Toole<\/span><\/p>\n

Eanna Madden \u2013 Carrick on Shannon<\/span><\/p>\n

Christian Robinson \u2013 Queens University<\/span><\/p>\n

Mark Smyth \u2013 Raheny Shamrock<\/span><\/p>\n

Stephen Gaffney \u2013 Rathfarnham WSAF<\/span><\/p>\n

Smyth has had an extremely impressive year breaking the near 30 year old club 100 metre record setting a new record of 10.70 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n
