Clonliffe Harriers Sean Doran produced a controlled victory in round one of the Lord Mayor Series where a record number began the summer series.<\/p>\n
94 athlete\u2019s toed the line for the opening of 13 rounds on a still summer evening with Doran excelling in the conditions to clock 10 minutes 18 seconds.<\/p>\n
Simon Devenney took second place in 10 minutes 41 seconds with junior Thomas Ward in third place in 10 minutes 49 seconds.<\/p>\n
Raheny Shamrock Junior Niamh Corry was a clear winner of the Women\u2019s race clocking 11 minutes 29 seconds followed by Portlaoise pair Sharon Grant and Paula Grant who both crossed the line in 12 minutes nine seconds.<\/p>\n
