Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club today launched their 2017 Fit4Life Series.<\/p>\n

The race series see\u2019s six two mile road races every Wednesday over six weeks, beginning Wednesday October 18.<\/p>\n

The race\u2019s take part over the two mile loop used in the highly successful Lord Mayor of Raheny series, which attracted a record field this year.<\/p>\n

The Fit4Life series run\u2019s as six individual races for runners and walkers of all standards, with focus on runners wishing to take up or return to active racing.<\/p>\n

\u201cA very welcoming and accessible entry into racing\u201d explained Helen Carr, a graduate from the Fit4Life Series and now prominent club member.<\/p>\n

\u201cRunning the whole series is great for trying to improve your results and for getting to know people in the club\u201d added Carr.<\/p>\n

All races start at 8pm beginning on October 18th<\/sup> and running ever Wednesday until November 22nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Entry fee is \u20ac7 per race or \u20ac30 for all six races.<\/p>\n

There are prizes and spot prizes in each race, with any runner who competes in five races to receive a specially commissioned plaque.<\/p>\n
