Mick Clohisey will lead the Irish marathon team at the 2018 European Championships in Berlin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Athletics Ireland have this evening announced the Irish marathon men\u2019s and women\u2019s teams which take part in Berlin 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Irish men\u2019s marathon team which will compete on Sunday August 12.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mick Clohisey – Raheny Shamrock <\/span><\/p>\n

Sergiu Ciobanu – Clonliffe Harriers<\/span><\/p>\n

Sean Hehir – Rathfarnham WSAF<\/span><\/p>\n

Paul Pollock – Annadale Striders<\/span><\/p>\n

Stephen Scullion – Clonliffe Harriers<\/span><\/p>\n

Kevin Seaward – St Malachy\u2019s<\/span><\/p>\n

The Irish women\u2019s team is;<\/span><\/p>\n

Breege Connolly – North Belfast Harriers <\/span><\/p>\n

Gladys Ganiel – North Belfast Harriers<\/span><\/p>\n

Laura Graham – Mourne Runners<\/span><\/p>\n

Lizzie Lee – Leevale<\/span><\/p>\n

Claire McCarthy \u2013 Leevale<\/span><\/p>\n

Clohisey has previously competed at the European Championships in Amsterdam 2016 over the half-marathon distance.<\/span><\/p>\n
