This morning, it has been announced that Frank Greally has retired as editor of the Irish Runner magazine a role Frank held for some 37-years.<\/span><\/p>\n

Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club would like to take this moment to congratulate Frank on his retirement and wish him the very best in future endeavours.<\/span><\/p>\n

For so many years the \u201cRunner\u201d was the bible of the sport in Ireland and Frank as founder and editor in that period was the driving force behind the magazine.<\/span><\/p>\n

In that period Frank commissioned features on our club and countless stories on club members and events. Indeed a number of club members contributed to the magazine over the many years.<\/span><\/p>\n

We wish Frank the very best in his retirement and extend a welcome to Frank in his new role as an Athletics Ireland ambassador, Frank Greally will always be welcome in Raheny.<\/span><\/p>\n

We would also like to take this moment to offer best wishes to the new Irish Runner editor Bernie Commins and IFP media, the new owners of the Irish Runner magazine.<\/span><\/p>\n
