Kim O\u2019Hare and Conor Birmingham both landed silver at the junior and under-23 national championships on Saturday afternoon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kim O\u2019Hare took silver in the junior women\u2019s triple jump with a best of 10.96 metres, the event was won by Waterford\u2019s Emily O\u2019Mahony with a best of 11.13 metres.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conor Bermingham took silver in the under-23 Pole vault with a best of 4.10 metres, just 10 centimetres behind West Waterford\u2019s Yuri Kanash who took gold.<\/span><\/p>\n

Shane Power of St. Joseph\u2019s A.C and Bermingham could not be separated in the tussle for silver with both men posting 4.10 metres.<\/span><\/p>\n

Orla Comerford took bronze in the under-23 100 metres posted 12.59 seconds. The race was won out by DSD\u2019s Kate Doherty in 12.06 seconds, with Roisin Harrison second in 12.20 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comerford then finished fourth in the 200 metres posting 26.42 seconds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere Sean Dowling took seventh place in the under-23 400 metre final posting 52.44 seconds, having posted 55.66 in his heat.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile Dylan Kirwan posted 59.39 seconds in the under-23 100 metres.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Andrew Hyland took eighth place in the junior 1500 metres posting 4:25.88.
