Eric Favors set a new club record for the shot put with a best of 16.68 meters at Dublin Graded meet on Wednesday night.<\/span><\/p>\n

Favors had reset the 37-year-old club shot put record just four days earlier, before winning the shot put competition with a new club record.<\/span><\/p>\n

Elsewhere on the track, Lucy Barret posted 5:19.80 for fourth place in the A 1500 metres with Helen Carr taking fourth place in C1 1500 in 6:09.79.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the same race Eimear O\u2019Keeffe finished eighth in 6:17.09 and Denise Kelleher 11th<\/span><\/sup> in 6:42.30.<\/span><\/p>\n

Andrew Hyland took seventh place in the 3000 metres posting 9:12.00. Donal Foley took 11th<\/span><\/sup> place in 9:1928 and Dylan O\u2019Brien 14th<\/span><\/sup> in 10:00.03.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conall O\u2019Toole took fourth place in the 400 metres A1 race in 51.50 seconds. In A2 race Jamie Sheridan posted 53.34 for sixth place.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the C1 race James Smithe took second place in 57.85 and Liam Sheehan fifth in 61.32.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the women\u2019s 400 metres B1 race Sarah Tate finished second in 63.61. In the C1 race Adrienne Atkins clocked 68.22 seconds for sixth place.<\/span><\/p>\n

While Laura Fallon jumped a best of 2.55 metres in the pole vault.<\/span><\/p>\n
