The hardest competition on the juvenile calendar due to the combined ages and our athletes excelled\u2618\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>Theo Duffy started off proceedings on Friday evening claiming \ud83e\udd47 in the Inter steeplechase in a blistering last 100m.<br \/>\nCharlie Gunawardahana won \ud83e\udd49 in the senior steeplechase.<br \/>\nPhilip Carberry threw 32.62 to claim 5th place in the Junior Boys Javelin whilst Liam McAtamney raced to 5th place in the Junior Walk<\/p>\n<p>Des O&#8217;Neill led the way on Saturday with a \ud83e\udd47 in the Senior 400mH. He raced to a championship record of 51.89 and a World u20 qualifying standard.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Afari raced a pb of 12.16* to 4th place in the 100m and followed it up with \ud83e\udd49 in the 200m an hour later.<\/p>\n<p>Freyja O&#8221; Carroll claimed the silver medal in the senior 800m in a time of 2.13<\/p>\n<p>Next up was Conrad Latham who blitzed the last 100 of the senior 800 to claim \ud83e\udd47 in 1.52.<\/p>\n<p>St. Fintans 4&#215;100 relay team made up of \u2618\ufe0f Ollie, Des, Eric and Andy raced to another championship record of 42.66 helping St.Fintans to Best Overall School of the championships. A fitting semd off to Coach Paddy Noonan who hung up his whistle as athletics coach in St. Fintans over 20 years of service \ud83d\udc4f<\/p>\n<p>Well done to all the coaches involved in guiding these
