Raheny Shamrock today launched their new Fit4Life series, aiming to involve new comers to running and people returning to the sport.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fit4life series see\u2019s six, two mile races over six consecutive weeks on the popular Raheny course which also hosts the national road relays.<\/span><\/p>\n

The series aims to get people involved in running and develop the social outlet of being a member of an athletics club.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAt are heart we are a community club\u201d explained Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club race promoter Pat Hooper.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe cater for athletes of all standards and abilities from under nine to Olympic and Paralympic athletes and the fit4life series keeps our key role as a community athletic club.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe fit4life series is a great way for people to enjoying running and racing regularly, whether they are new to the sport or are returning to running.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is also a stepping stone for people to get involving in running to keeping fit and getting to know people to enjoy running and keeping an active lifestyle\u201d added Hooper.<\/span><\/p>\n

3rd Round Wednesday 7th November<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4th Round Wednesday 14th November<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

5th Round Wednesday 21st November<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

6th Round Wednesday 28th November<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
