The following is the outline for selection criteria for this Sunday\u2019s (April 28) National Road Relay\u2019s which take place in Raheny.<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s Team<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The team\u2019s for the Senior Men, Master 35 and Master 50\u2019s team will be announced on Friday April 26.<\/span><\/p>\n

While this is a change in tradition, it is not possible for the men\u2019s captain Dick Hooper to announce the team immediately after the Raheny Open Mile.<\/span><\/p>\n

We encourage all athlete\u2019s wishing to compete in the national road relay\u2019s to compete in the Raheny Open Mile, which forms part of the selection process on form for the National Road Relays.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Team<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The main selection for the Senior women, Masters 35 and Masters 50 is the Raheny Open Mile taking place on 24th April.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women\u2019s captain Orla Manley would encourage everyone to take part in this race. However this is not the sole basis for selection, other factors do feature such as current form overall.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you are unable to take part in the mile but would still like to be considered for selection please let Orla know and provide either a recent time for a 1 mile\/2mile or 5km race if possible.<\/span><\/p>\n
